    THE SPACE DEBRIS PROBLEM will get worse not only around earth but to our environment as well. Every successful ( etc.) launch, pieces of the second stage falls back to earth,most of all in the ocean. Sometimes on land.

    Things not to look forward to in space-related stories coming 2019: more added in the form of upper stages, failed & retired spacecraft, & new fragments from breakups, more collision avoidance manoeuvres, & more difficulty identifying payloads from mass deployments

    Similar to the prior two Blagovest launches, the 21 Dec 2018 Blagovest 13L launch left a Briz-M upper stage (2018-107B) in a non-compliant orbit within the GEO Protected Region. Apogee: GEO-230 km, perigee GEO+6220 km. Graphic is ECI ref depicting 10 days.
