I think part of the reason people have tried to assemble a "radically reclaim emotions" stance like

PSA since the
#SobSquad tide has been rising lately: you 1000% don't need to push yourself into any more of your emotional stuff than you feel ready for. you're protecting yourself from that stuff for *good reasons* and that's worth honoring. it's good to protect yourself!
