    When adding a toon outline, I like to use a blurred, RGB noise texture to distort the UVs used to look up the depths. This gives the line a sketchy, inky look. Read more about it here.

    Hey! I wrote up the dissolve shader I made, featuring dissolve based on Y/height and "View-space projected UVs" to prevent UV seams. 🙂✨

    This technique also makes it super easy to set up world dissolve masks from any arbitrary world position without the need for custom world materials. Same goes for any "world scanning effect" for that matter 😎

    For instance, I can use it to create a height based screen distortion effect that is grounded in the world instead of just a full screen distortion that feels pasted on. Added some colorization for extra heath effect.
