I’ll share in a thread a personal story of why I wore the Puerto Rican flag in the lapel during the Presidential lecture
#SFN2019. It is a story that goes back to my undergrad days, and a story about belonging and representation. (1/n) https://twitter.com/FreddysonJ_MR/status/1186421680392065029 …

You're not gonna believe me, but the most incredible thing is not that I got through
#SfN2019 alive, but that I didn't have a single sip of coffee the entire time I was in Chicago. Some reflections: http://www.rdgao.com/blog/2019/10/26/ … -
I must admit I’m underwhelmed with Neuroimmunology/glia/vascular portion of
#sfn2019 program. It fees like we are back 10 years ago when 99% of posters are dealing with 50% of the brain cells (neurons). Neurons are super important but they are not there on their own! -
Here is my short interview with the national public radio about
#travelban and#sfn2019.#SfN can become truly inclusive either by a complete change of US border policies (very unlikely) or by hosting some of its meetings at more wellcoming locations!https://n.pr/2MLLnQxShow this thread -
