    Come visit the NAS at 2101 Constitution Avenue NW to see exhibits exploring climate change and surveillance as well as a GOES satellite replica. The NAS is a private nonprofit and we are open 9-5 weekdays.

    Next in my Lowcountry fossils series: a Pleistocene Snaggletooth shark (Hemipristis serra) from the Austin Sand Pit, SC. I collected this gorgeous tooth about a year ago! Watercolor and acrylic, 3x4", 2019. ~2 hours.

    Doodle inspired by the small-fry northern pike I caught through the ice a few days ago. I always like catching small, healthy, fish... a good sign there's natural reproduction!
