    Even Barack Obama knows this is a propaganda bullshit. It's common knowledge here in the USA that Tory officials are over meeting with healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. The NHS will be part of a trade deal.

    Doesn't bear thinking about big fella. I had an accident three weeks ago, they could not have performed better and I'm well on the road to a full recovery. From the ambulance para-medics, to the nurses, radiographer and attending Doctor, they were superb. 👋👋👋

    I’m afraid this is simply not true, . In real terms, it equates to an annual percentage increase of 3.4%. Ie: *lower* than the average % increase of 4% since NHS founded in 1948. And *substantially* lower then the 6% increases under Brown & Blair. Facts matter.

    Quite correct. The inquiry highlighted commercial conflicts in both sectors -see my threads. The market driven changes to the NHS incentivise shocking behaviour by doctors and health care providers. In the US it is now systemic. Without radical change it will become so here.

    Underfund a service then, when ppl are angry about the level of care they receive, tell them it couldn't have worked anyway & scrap it. That's Tory policy in a nutshell.

    Leaked waiting times point to a partially collapsing NHS in Northern Ireland where in certain areas there's little hope of some people being treated. For some of them, even getting to the top of the list doesn't mean treatment, with 3 further waiting lists.
