    After a few seismically quiet months since the eruption started, the Peninsula is active again with an ongoing seismic swarm just south of Mt. Keilir (pictured), including an M3.5 this morning.

    Volcanic eruption seem to continue in Geldingadalir on the Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland. I took this shot this morning from FL430 (~ 13.100 m).

    New earthquake swarm started on the peninsula. Over 1400 since yesterday, the strongest one 4.2M at 5am GMT this morning. Scientists believe this is due to lateral magma movement. No signs of eruption, but color code for upgraded to orange.
