    The UK Government is trying to get rid of one of the few routes to safety for lone refugee children in Europe. We stand with in opposing this. Tell your MP that family reunification MUST be protected in law after Brexit:

    Amazing news! Our friend’s refugee claim was ACCEPTED. A gay man from Uganda, he arrived in Ottawa in the summer of 2018. Here I am with him at his first-ever Pride. We are so lucky that Canada gets to keep him.

    Anyone who has donations but can't get to Barrow on Saturday but lives in Ulverston area message me as I'm going through at about 2pm and can take some extras

    Please retweet. A collection point in Barrow on 18th January.... ideal opportunity to shed extra useful stuff after Christmas. Cash donations very welcome and toiletries. All to be shipped out to the refugee camps to make life a bit more bearable

    Guess who passed her drivers permit test on the first try? Congrats!! She and her family arrived in Omaha this summer and are excited to hopefully get a car soon. 🚗🙌🏽

    Texas becoming the first state to reject refugees under the new executive order is a sad blow to a long legacy of refugee resettlement there. Meanwhile, Governors in 42 other states have said that they will consent to allowing in more refugees.

    A step in the right direction: a federal judge has blocked Trump’s executive order giving states and local governments the power to reject resettling refugees. Oregon is, and will continue to be, a sanctuary for refugees.
