    The 435 MHz QFHA is probably the easiest to design. It is easy to print, not very big ,and the stray inductances and capacitances in the discrete component 90º hybrid are manageable. Ordering the boards today.

    Does the Wilmington, NC radar data look funky to the S? Well it seems like we have a case of partial beam blockage in the low elevation scans. Attached you can see as we scan higher (lower subplots) the data looks more coherent.

    I just noticed that too! That could be influenced by the doppler est winds with have been higher than recon mission so far, especially for the outer eyewall. 55 m/s winds in NE outer eyewall at 1.3km translates to 85-90kt at the sfc assuming typical eyewall relationships.
