    Cummings knows Johnson's notorious laziness is a fatal flaw. He doesn't read briefings or pay attention in meetings. It's why Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is held in an Iranian prison. On no account must Johnson be asked difficult questions: he doesn't know the answers.

    Food is a human necessity. In 2010 when Labour left office, 64,000 emergency food parcels were issued to people in crisis... Fast forward ten punitive & punishing years of Tory austerity later and that number was 1.6 million... As disgraceful as it is shameful...

  20. Ah yes, this makes total sense. One piece about the urgent need to ramp up our efforts to slow climate change followed by another on Australia's ambition to export agricultural products right round the world to us, instead of our neighbours popping over with them.
