Another way of deceiving people is to say things are identical when they’re not, different when they’ve not or associated when they’ve not. Or any other combination of differentiation, association or identification. Keep it real.

If you find out you’re in the minority, the only way out is to persuade others about your cause. Litigate it or just live with it. Unacceptable methods include lying, corruption, slander, battery, etc. Use of force never works. Only reason does.

As a responsible citizen, you have a duty to participate. You don’t have to be zealous about issues, movements and politicians, but you should be conversant with the main issues of the day and the position of BOTH sides on key issues. Don’t be a dummy or a zealot.

Another method of winning an argument is to exaggerate your opposition’s point or even create a (false) issue/target to divert attention from a weak or indefensible argument. Reason always wins. Straw Man losses.

Everybody is focused on endless, meaningless issues while we barrel, at an alarming rate of speed, towards bankruptcy. We’re obsessed with minutia while the light in the fiscal tunnel is not a bright tomorrow-IT’S A TRAIN!

Compromise is everywhere. Even if you’re a hermit, you give up the convenience of city life to live off the grid. Living with others means some level of compromise. It can be slight or severe compromise. If you can’t compromise, you alienate yourself. Embrace it.

You’re born. You compromise a little. You compromise a lot. Then you die. Unles you live by yourself on a lost tropical island, you have to compromise a little or a lot. Axiom:Life is a 2-way proposition.

The laws and regulations we have are the product of thousands of years of experience and wisdom. Many laws just reflect agreements that led to better survival. It’s hip to want your own new laws; not “old school” laws. Don’t throw out the baby with bath water.

Another fallacy seen often is the false dilemma fallacy. To do it, create a false “either/or” argument: you must like this because you don’t like that. You hear it quite often on TV. When you hear an “either/or” statement, be very suspicious. It might be a trick.

The ends justify the means. It’s OK to say or do ANYTHING, legal or not; dishonest or not, as long as it supports achieving a goal, legitament or not. Don’t play. Don’t join in.

Youth has different influences and experiences. They rebel (to establish independence) against their parent’s and other generations. Teachers, media and social groups add to the problem. 30 or 40 years later, most people find out their parents were smart after all.

The one weak spot in the system; a politician can say any thing to get elected and then do what he wants once he wins. Politicians represent the People or a State. The only solutions are term limits and extensive vetting. Ask A LOT of questions.

USA was founded to get away from kings (monarchs), dictators, autocrats and oppression. The Constitution gives us republicanism and democracy and prevents fascism. Capitalism overrides socialism and Communism. Liberty = Constitution, Republicanism and Capitalism.
