    Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante says a tramway connecting downtown to Lachine is the "first segment of the Pink line." The city has reached an agreement with the Quebec government to build the tramway.

    I am pleased to announce that an agreement in principle between and regarding public transit has been concluded! Not only is getting the funding it needs for its tramway, but, most importantly, Montreal is making major gains!

    Couldn't go to city meeting, but watching it tonight, I agree with Madam PHAM, our street sweeper are doing a terrible job also on SHERBROOKE OUEST, our streets are dusty & full of cigarette butt + dog pop

    A group of people stood in solidarity with borough mayor during city council. Two weeks ago, a judge acquitted the man who harassed her for 20 years. Montgomery thanked people and said she wants to appeal the decision.

    9 states have raised smoking age to 21, thousands of tNorth American towns have extended smoke free protection to parks, but not much happening in City Hall thinks it's profiling against the homeless to offer citizens better protection from second hand smoke.
