    News from - the journal will be publishing peer review referee reports along with the author responses/rebuttals to go with published pieces. Will be interesting to see if other journals start to do the same as well.

  10. There seems to be a mismatch between how quickly I am asked to review other people's papers and how quickly mine get reviewed. Grateful for process but eesh a 1 week turnaround time vs a min of 4 months. Not the same journals but a big discrepancy

    Speed of publishing on is surfacing important issues. can be fast. It can also be flawed. This may also be the first real stress test for medical servers. Papers like this one suggest some oversight may be needed wrt media & public health fallout.

    Very positive comments from on my first paper ever! Now improving the text for the next step. Journal & topic top-secret until publication, but you can probably guess copper and bacteria are involved...

    Just got a report from an anonymous reviewer saying they looked up a technical term from the paper's abstract on Wikipedia, didn't understand it, and concluded that therefore our paper must be wrong. Can't make up this shit.
