Apart from all the coronavirus stuff, NASA's Parker solar probe got to about 18 million km from the sun's atmosphere, and also broke the record for the fastest man made object, flying at speeds reaching 393,000 kph!!

@NASASun what kind of data are you guys receiving from#ParkerSolarProbe and are or will there ever be images received? -
111,000 m/s for the Parker probe near the Sun! Though by my calcs it would still take 10,800 years to reach Proxima Centauri

I'm really looking forward to any new information that
#ParkerSolarProbe and#SolarOrbiter might be able to provide about planet Mercury. We still have so much to learn about this little planet.Prikaži ovu nit -

#ParkerSolarProbe has just made the closest approach to the Sun in history. Meanwhile, engineers are working a technical issue on@NASAVoyager 2...which is operating well beyond Pluto.pic.twitter.com/RHJKtDZkx7Prikaži ovu nit -
Record breaking!

At 4:37 a.m. EST on Jan. 29, @NASA’s#ParkerSolarProbe broke speed and distance records, traveling 11.6 million miles from the Sun’s surface at perihelion & reaching a speed of 244,225mph! http://bit.ly/psp-2O8uuzM@NASASunpic.twitter.com/tGkG2ydLRU -
#ParkerSolarProbe made its 4th close approach to the Sun early this morning and set new records in the process! Parker flew about 11.6 million miles from the Sun and achieved a top speed of more than 244,000 mph, breaking records it set in 2018: https://blogs.nasa.gov/parkersolarprobe/2020/01/29/parker-solar-probe-completes-fourth-closest-approach-breaks-new-speed-and-distance-records/ …pic.twitter.com/rYaXgI5o84 -
