    We were in Taunton quite early last Sunday. People were queuing to get in at 9:30am. Ok. But by 9:50am, all the Checkouts had long queues, trolleys full, mainly fresh produce, veg etc. We were told that by 12 noon the place would be stripped May be not, but..

    People. Please don't panic buy. Yes there's shortages but those people panic buying aren't helping the situation. Think of those elderly, and families who need to buy essentials such as nappies. Times are tough, don't make it any harder than it needs to be!

    It's shocking and desparate. What a mess! I can only guess that the BBC have decided not to publish in case people do what I am just about to do - ie start a stockpile from as many shops before the chaos sets in
