Stop it, please, #onpoli media. Parents aren't "caught in the middle" between education workers & the government. We're not frustrated at the strike. We're angry at the government for forcing education workers to strike by denying them decent wages & working conditions. (1/?)

Premier Doug Ford in Question Period, says he won't tolerate students being out of the classroom for even one day. It was the Ford government that shut down schools for more than 20 weeks during the pandemic (sometimes after promising to keep them open) #onpoli

Well, Queen's Park has descended into chaos. NDP Leader Peter Tabuns has accused the Premier of "lying" about CUPE. He refused to withdraw and has been kicked out. Now other NDP MPPs are getting booted from Question Period. #onpoli

is refusing to guarantee that our Kindergarten classes will continue to have an ECE assigned to each class. This is paving the way for Kindergarten classes with 30 students and 1 adult. #onted #onpoli

So let me get this straight - Ontario's lowest paid education workers, making $39k, are greedy for asking for another $3.25 an hour to keep up with the cost of living, but Ontario's highest paid MPPs, who just got a $16k raise - from taxpayers - are paid fairly? 🤔#OntEd #onpoli

Two men making a combined $375k/yr, are attempting to crush 55,000 education workers of Ontario, who are 71-75% women, making an average of $39k/yr. Let that sink in. Lecce & Ford are not on the side of our schools, or our kids & families. They’re cutting school funding, too!

I went to the #onpoli Legislature gallery today. This is what I saw: -Conservative MPPs laughing as they tabled a Bill to take #onted CUPE members' rights away -Conservative MPPs ignoring the proceedings, cracking jokes It's clear that this is a game to many of these guys.
