    Ford gets caught up in Trump-style stupidity, telling spontaneous and easily disproven lies. Claims he's receiving supportive texts from teachers, to a personal cell he's kept secret, and which he declines to share for no particular reason.

  6. Over the weekend, Premier Doug Ford claimed he has received “numerous” text messages from teachers who don’t support going on strike. We asked for a sample of those text messages. The Premier’s office said no.

    Toronto. King Street. Where private construction companies get to park their cars on the sidewalk and pedestrians have to walk on the road. Private construction projects should not take over sidewalks, bike lanes and roads.

  13. Just read over the The Canadian Code of Advertising Standards and it's my belief the Vaughan Working Families ad in the paper this weekend contravenes section 1 of the Code. I have submitted a complaint to , the regulatory body, about it.

  14. The NDP has called on Elections Ontario to investigate ads by “Vaughan Working Families.” The anonymous group placed full-pg political ads that attack teachers in weekend newspapers—ads which appear to violate Ontario’s political advertising laws.

    NDP ethics critic Taras Natyshak wrote to Chief Electoral Officer Greg Essensa demanding a probe into the Vaughan Working Families ad campaign attacking teachers unions. Natyshak argues it constitutes 3rd party advertising in a byelection period + $ must be disclosed
