    Very proud of our fantastic super-midwife RUTH who has worked tirelessly over the past 2 days safely facilitating the birth of two beautiful babies at home, only leaving to go to bed at 530 this morning!

    Just over 2 hours back on call last night, ready to catch up on Peaky Blinders and 🚨📟🔔... 8 minutes later, we’re on scene at an RTC 🌳💥🚙 and I’m administering casualty care; holiday is officially over, but I wouldn’t change it for the world 😄

    The month of February was another busy one for the team. 38P4 had 14 calls and 38V1 had 33 calls. That brings the station to a total of 156 calls so far this year. 38P4 = 29, 38V1 = 127. Happy to help and support the needs of our community.

    After a looong day in work on call yesterday, and my longest bypass run of 8hrs I’m resting today and praying the phone doesn’t ring again ! On the plus side it’s beautiful in Blackpool today!
