    Such a simple kindness but it was an honest to god lifesaver, it fit all my bits in AND meant I could take off my warm layers instead of sweating for my 1h commute AND freed up my hands so I could eat my sandwich before the low blood sugar kicked in and yeah.

    as a woman who dates men, break ups suck because you know it’ll take him 2 weeks to find a decent girl but you have to go through hell for the next 2 years just to find a guy who isn’t straight out of a Law and Order SVU episode

    I was in a taxi heading home from school.The driver told me to stay in school,avoid distractions and do my best.After,he asked me on a date and I declined.He said, “You know that I can kidnap,rape and kill you right now but I’m not like those men.” I came off immediately.

    5. This often then segues into how most feminists love men & fight for their rights too, & the topic gets further de-railed (which may be what the brigade want). Anyhow, the point is we want men to learn to suck up criticisms of men NOT AS INDIVIDUALS BUT AS A CLASS.

    2. A major tenet of feminism is the trope. This is where feminists discuss men’s behaviour, & there’s ALWAYS a man (or 50) who rush to yell “not all men” in response to any comment on the actions/behaviour/beliefs of many men. It’s so ubiquitous it’s a joke & hashtag.
