    "Person with autism" is a euphemism for autistic person. Euphemism is an expression used in place of a perceived offensive one. I don't find it offensive but people who are unable to tolerate difference might.

    Amy Gravino may soon become the 7th proponent identifying as having an ASD to become a public member of the IACC (8 NDs including Matt Carey) wonder if anyone would care to lay odds on a pro-cure, anti-ND ASD person appointed.

  5. Left the sprint, picked up a call with a loved one -recognising his own for the first time, in his early 40s. Big stuff! Also: feeling suddenly not alone, not broken, more powerful, with more solutions available to him, one of many.

    Massive shout out to GWR looked after me in Reading today. Trev and his team found me on the wrong platform about to get on the wrong train and looked after me all the way home

    At our Employment Law Breakfast Seminar a few months back we gave a briefing on in the workplace and recommended that employers consider individual needs and make reasonable adjustments. The benefit was that many of the adjustments would help ALL employees.

    “To attract different thinkers, your approach needs to be different. The traditional method of verbal-based interviews is very limiting if social communication is a challenge.” Well worth a read today.

    Yes we firmly believe includes all not a few that some insist on To deny by restricting Neurodiversity to a few could be seen as othering & discriminatory denying the central core of ND The world is neurodiverse Some of us are neurodivergent

  12. Day 24 of : I'm not ashamed of my , but feel I let others down at times 👐 Self-compassion and self-forgiveness is a MUST for me 📈 I make mistakes, but try not to "rush and fix" the blips ♾ There is no quick fix - I can constantly evolve routines
