    84% of Native women experience violence in their lifetime—many cases go unreported. ’s Indigenous Communities plan calls to prioritize the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and the human trafficking of native women and girls.

    Secretary released the first comprehensive plan for Indigenous communities almost a month ago. Since then, other candidates have notably followed his lead. All candidates should have a plan for investing in Native communities.
