    Removing and rebuilding the actin filament cytoskeleton at the leading edge of a neuronal growth cone. Actin filament polyermization was inhibited with cytochalasin B (CB) and then CB was washed out. This data is not quite 20 years old; but close.

    This cute little bug is a Pygmy backswimmer. The tiny little fellow is only about 3 mm in size, but have been magnified over 50 times!

    DNA during cell death (bottom) and cell division (top). We have found that counting nuclei with low magnification is difficult when some cells are dying. Dead cells are bright and round too; just like healthy nuclei. Fix? Go high mag like this example.
