    Some of the species we managed to catch in our traps when looking at the faunal assemblages around infrastructure at Wallis Lake in NSW back in December! Beyond keen to see what we can get next week! (All the animals were released safely)

  8. Hey Twitter, what is this? Someone on Instagram suggested it was a banded urchin, but this was on Palancar reef in Cozumel, Caribbean. About 5" across, about 40' down.

  9. There are over 1000 species of sharks and rays in the world and we don’t know much about them. One way to study these species it to simply go to fishing ports and do surveys in the ports themselves!
