    Once the overcast clouds break up early this afternoon chances will increase for widely scattered showers and even a few isolated thunderstorms, especially in the areas east of highway 283. The activity may begin as early as 1 pm and last as late as 7 pm.

    Timelapse in Wichita shows increasing cloud cover through the day. This video definitely gives more of a Spring vibe than much of Spring. Next week will feel a bit more like Summer though, humidity is coming back.

    Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly after noon. Then, mostly cloudy with a high near 74. Mostly sunny and 80 for Thursday.

    After a few thunderstorms today, the weather looks to turn warmer and drier to close out the work week. Temperatures on Thursday and Friday should be much closer to normal for a change.

    After a stretch of recent wet weather, summer makes an entrance with temps around 90 by this weekend! Mostly dry conditions with plenty of sunshine prevail each day with increasing chances of an isolated shower or possible thunderstorm late in the day on Sunday.
