    Happy ! This is the cervical vertebra (neck bone) of a long-necked (MOR 7029) that roamed in the (~ 150 mya). Lesions on the bone (inset) reveal an avian-style respiratory infection that may have caused this dinosaur's death.

    The fossils I'm holding in my hand are osteoderms of pretty large teleosauroids (marine crocs) from the Middle Jurassic of Western Germany. They are yet undescribed and shown at the Museum Bünde.
