  6. Soooooo your response to “the biggest agencies have become oligopolistic and stopped doing the job of actually representing clients” is to... maybe merge into an even bigger agency? Consolidation is everywhere, and it is BAD FOR WORKERS.

  7. This is why they weren’t taking commission from writers. If you’re not paying for the product, it’s because you ARE the product.

    I talked w about the amazing ways writers are banding together during this WGA-ATA conflict. From the Writers Panel, I knew we had a strong community. & 1000s more of us are showing the world how strong.

  14. Looks like the WGA refused to be paid off....it was a terrible last minute attempt by ATA to continue unethical behavior for a cut of the profits - kudos to the Union.

    You can't represent talent AND the companies that hire them without creating a conflict of interest. Because Hollywood agencies are collecting massive fees from the studios, they effectively work for the studios now. Talent first.
