    In 2014, I was a 16 year old school pupil, hoping I’d wake up in a Scotland which could lead its own path away from the austerity and rule of Westminster. A Scotland which is fair and inclusive that welcomes new Scots and treats everyone as it’s own. The hope lives on.

    The Republic of Ireland was once in the UK. It left. It has never asked to come back. It seems to be doing pretty well without the UK. That says a hell of a lot about being independent.

    I wasn’t old enough to vote in the last indyref, but I would’ve voted no. Fast forward 7 years and I’m a raging nat. Scotland will thrive as a small independent nation with equality and fairness at its heart. I look forward to campaigning for a better future.

    7 years ago, 45% of Scots voted for a better future and whilst we didn’t win, We set a precedent. The vision has not died, It never will. 45% is now the floor unlike the ceiling it was in 2014. A political generation has passed. Now lets get on with what is right
