  4. This morning at Sapperton Park (SO 9580 0275) seven Bramblings amongst large flocks of Chaffinches. (Martine Fenn).

    Black-tailed Godwit, Lapwing, a Curlew, Redshank, Dunlin and Crane Sedge (White-Yellow-Red, out of picture) in the South Middle Ground field(final field on left as you approach WWT Slimbridge), 04/02/20, ~11.15am. And then the Godwits flew.

    Just enjoyed the visual juxtaposition and contrasting colour schemes! Grey Heron with Cormorant in breeding plumage, South lake, WWT Slimbridge, 04/02/20, ~1pm.

    Great day at CHM at weekend. Lots to see. Standout were 3 Green Woodpecker and large no’s Fieldfare. Oh and lots of MUD😂😂Short visit later to Highnam: very happy to see a Marsh Tit until closer look at pics reveal a poorly eye.
