    Traralgon East Fire Station’s trialling some new water equipment including a new 9000L water tank and other handy additions…like this one which means Firefighters can control grass fires without leaving the truck.

    The Yallourn Power station in Gippsland’s Latrobe Valley has temporarily paused production at its coal mine as a precautionary measure after heavy rainfall and floods across the region. Operations will resume when its safe to do so

    Massive power outages across the Bass Coast due to the wild weather. More than 40 towns have been impacted. Power estimated to be restored by 11.30pm tonight.
