    Leavers getting agitated about EU supporting Spain over . They've forgotten that when Spain joined the EU in 1986 the EU supported UK requirements that Spain shelve its demands? UK was a member of the EU & Spain was not. Situation now reversed. That's life.

    99% of citizens eligible to vote in 2002 opted to remain British. Only 1% voted to cede the rock, a British Overseas Territory for over 300 years, to any form of Spanish rule (shared or otherwise). Spain/EU shouldn’t delude themselves in upcoming negotiations.🇬🇮🇬🇧

    So the Brexthicks are moaning about . They should be supporting Spain’s sovereignty over its border. Once we lose Gibraltar, Scotland & N. Ireland the little englanders will fulfill their little destinies.

    Macron and the Spanish cranking up the threats over trade and today. Yawn. Sadly we’re also now in for 11 months of griping from remoaners everytime the £ dips, a job is lost, an Oxford comma is missed out...... or it rains. 🙄

  9. Remember when this was described as "project fear": The EU will back Spain over its territorial claims to Gibraltar in the next phase of Brexit negotiations by giving them the power to exclude the British overseas territory from any trade deal.

    So you want to return to Spanish rule against the expressed wishes of the population there? Sounds like Spanish colonialism to me personally but hey ho🤷‍♂️
