  5. A postpartum ad by was rejected by the Oscars for reportedly being too graphic. DBL's says she's disappointed but not surprised the ad didn't air, saying it "highlights the misogyny that we have to deal with daily, and it’s costing women lives."

    If we showed accurate depictions of what many women go through postpartum more ppl would realize how obscene it is that America is one of only two countries without mandatory paid maternity leave. That's why the truth is "too graphic."
