Riddle me this...why are teamsters who are NOT affected by going to Sacramento, meeting with and saying: ? It’s like a league of vegans went to a restaurant and said the steak is delicious! Makes NO sense!

I love it when I see union members fighting hard for a crappy law that doesn’t benefit or affect them. Yay! Could you make it MORE obvious? Also: Unions 💰 for campaigns, but Constituents elect representatives. We can vote you guys out.

? No. Read this story and tell me if it does. They don’t chose to be freelancers. This is the only way they can make a living and be independent.

And you are breaking it more leaving people with disabilities and chronic conditions, stay-at-home and single parents, caregivers and many others that need work flexibility without a job. But sure, and you are . It doesn’t.

Disaster, just like , a law that has made CA freelancers lose their jobs, careers, lives.

My goal in life is feeling as happy as this teamster who is fighting for (even though it doesn’t affect him) and who doesn’t care about leaving many IC with an income. I wanna squeeze his cheeks!

It’s not only that we prefer being IC, but that our professions don’t fit the 9-5 model.

Talking to a “union volunteer” is like talking to someone in an MLM company. Are you tired of - being exploited? - not being paid fairly? - not having benefits? Join a union! We will get your dues and protect you ❤️ Yeah, no thanks.

You know what made me giggle? When I realized she has left people who WRITE for a living and who are already on twitter with a LOT of time in their hands. Like I told her: she should ask for Stanford and UCLA for her money back. She learned nothing.

Unions mean well... not! They just perpetuate mediocrity and want our money. I work hard for my money and I refuse to pay union dues.

I’m not a bot. But this is, to date, your funniest and most creative tweet. That’s me: I just had come out of my citizenship ceremony and that lady helped me register as a Democrat. And I will help vote you out.

is helping people” sounds like a myth since I’ve never met a person besides Lorena who claims that. There are thousands of people negatively impacted by this law. These are some of the people who could make it.

I have seen many sad stories like Gail’s. I have yet to see a happy one.

Representatives do that: Represent their constituents. WE are their raison d'être. If an individual constituent doesn’t have enough influence, @AsmMarkStoneq hasn’t seen what a determined group of translators can do.
