  2. In the last 12 hours, we've been blocked by Lorena Gonzalez's comms director, the comms director of CA Labor Fed, & a Congressional candidate convinced we're being paid to fight . We were honest & they didn't want to hear it. There seems to be an M.O. pattern here...🤔

  3. Living in CA as a single mom to a special needs child & no SSI is tough. I rely on writing gigs to supplement my non-profit income that barely covers the rent. will force me to leave the state, leaving behind my critical support system of family/friends.

This is the most significantly destructive law ever passed. There was no consideration for those of us who want to be independent. We have lost work and income. This is killing music and musicians ability to make a living. Just shameful.

Horrible take. We’re a 7-person small business. We hire highly skilled translators across many languages/technical areas. But impossible for us to hire 250 people on W-2s for ALL languages/specialties. Translation is a PROFESSIONAL SERVICE not a gig.
