  5. This research 👇🏻 is needed. Transition doesn’t help everyone. ⁦Knowing why not could help so many more others. Off-label medicalization & surgery are such invasive treatments. ⁦

    I think it is cuz this tx puts selective pressure to evolve resistant/aggressive clones when using anti-EGFR therapy. It would be prudent to not do this routinely in any neoadj setting and then study the subset that you might still think that would derive benefit.

    A discussion in a public forum which has consequences for others. You’re in a position of clinical leadership. You have to expect people to respond if you have offended them. Even inadvertently. It’s basic stuff.

    It staggers me that people in the medical profession can decide to exclude anyone from health care, no matter the personal beliefs of the doctor.

    Too many people were become hypotensive because docs were trying to meet the new guidelines which interestingly enough benefitted . This isn’t surprising at all and I’m happy some truth is coming out.
