    This was a CATEGORY 2!!!!! Annihilated Galveston and Bolivar Peninsula....keep that in mind when watching

    10 years ago this AM, made landfall on the TX coast. It was "only a Cat. 2", but was a $30b hurricane (2017 $). Don't make same mistake judging as "only a Cat. 2". Disastrous rainfall , surge impacts regardless.

    A few hours old, but is undergoing an replacement cycle after earlier today. Only a fragment of the original eyewall remains & at this rate, the cycle should be complete tomorrow. Florence will fluctuate in intensity as its size grows.
