    Social media is the number one key to create awareness, I also think monthly rally is also a good means of creating awareness

    47a. It is essential that enlightenment programs are specifically designed for boys/men and our SMA team has already started work on this as one of such trainings tagged "Men Engage Alliance" was recently held at  Ikere, Sapetu Ibariba Hall

    21. Medicalization of FGM (Performance of FGM by health care provider) is never acceptable because this violates medical ethics,since(i) FGM is a harmful practice (ii) medicalization perpetuates FGM (iii) the risk of the procedure outweigh any perceived benefit.

    We need more of grassroot work,especially in rural areas.Patronage TBAs during delivery's high,where FGM is done thereafter

    Our Nurses and Doctors are mostly needful in this... Emphasis must be laid regularly during ANC clinics on dangers of FGM

    Most of the mutilators are not on social media(mostly TBAs),most of their patronizers are mother in-laws and their cohorts
