    This is another reason the Electoral College needs to be eliminated. It's anti-democratic. One person, one vote. We no longer have any reason to let a minority of voters out-weigh the vote power of the majority.

    We live in a Republic, not a Democracy. The electoral college is meant to give power to the states with smaller populations, thereby better distributing political power. The Founders never wanted a tyranny of the majority.

    The political minority is protected by the electoral college. No candidate would go to Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska or any other state not heavily populated if it were eliminated. California and New York would be in control of the entire nation. protects the minority

    exists for a reason. Concentrated populations should not have more voting power then the next 10 or so states. Everyone in LA has the same political beliefs for a reason. They shouldn't carry more voting power.
