    Please read my statement on the discovery of the remains of 215 children at the Kamloops Indian Residential School. I have asked that from Monday, May 31 to June 8 the flags at City Hall be lowered for 215 hours to honour the lives of the 215 children.

    Basement suite steps being poured today. The suite makes these homes more affordable. Our short term plans are to rent out and help offset housing costs but the long-term goal is for it to allows us to be a multigenerational home (kids or grandparents)

    To honour each child who died at the former residential school in Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc near Kamloops, B.C.,the in will be lit orange on Tuesday, June 1. For 215 hours, the City Hall flags will be at half-mast.

    A really pleasant time last night. I sat on a rock and watched the river for a bit. A lot of people doing the same. Together but apart, distanced but friendly. Felt amazing.
