    We are consistently hearing from students that they came to this province for accessible education costs. Raising tuition will decrease out-of-province and international enrollment and decrease the retention of young people in this province

    Newfoundland and Labrador has long been able to boast about having the most accessible system of post-secondary education in the country, but with tuition raises looming, young people in this province will be looking elsewhere for education

    Memorial University is going to have $68 million in cuts over 5 years (starting next year), and will be allowed to raise tuition. There will be an increase in grants for low income students. It won’t be allowed to build new buildings
