    We found our first survivors this morning. This was very appreciative for some moisture and food in a landscape devoid of life. 2 and 3 so far. Unfortunately no yet.

  17. Color marking . Sometimes you have to find creative solutions... Each individual gets a unique combination of marks on different parts of the body. Let's me ID them from a distance. The spines are made of keratin, just like fingernails and hair.
