    210 mitochondria from a 5x5x5 micrometer volume of a larva brain neuropil. A few are up to a micrometer long. Manually segmented with software--which to my surprise still works remarkably well, including the 3D rendering and smoothing.

    What?! The male genitalia rotates 360° clockwise 🤔 beginning ~24  hr after pupation & finishes ~12  hr later; resulting in spermiduct looping around hindgut. Complete rotation required for fertility.
