Starting to do one video of OME and 5 uworld step 2 questions per day, 1.5 year out from MS3. My Ph.D. was long and I'm afraid I've forgotten a lot and don't want to feel unsettled when I start again. Thoughts on strategy? Other approaches?

A1: This affects many women who want kids & whose fertile years are spent in training. If they want kids & aren't wealthy, it is hard arrange for childcare coverage during clinical years &delaying until they are done training means waiting until they are AMA.

A3. We frequently share rooms at conferences. I've encountered peers who are uncomfortable sharing a room with a lesbian. It makes travel awkward, stressful. I feel the need to apologize for making others uncomfortable.

A1. I also had to decide if I wanted to be "out" while applying. I was not a strong candidate (low MCAT) and planned to apply broadly so I was advised to "stay in the closet" and "pass as straight." I can be a tough choice.

A1. No one warns you for how expensive the entire app process is! Aside from the MCAT and App fees, flights, housing, transportation to and from airports, even food on the go quickly becomes a barrier for people. There are many of us who declined interviews due to $
