Scattered rain is expected on Saturday with the best chances along the Red River and east of I-35. Rain will come to an end during the afternoon as a cold front sweeps through the area. Strong westerly winds are expected behind the front.

It's a big day for the KFWS weather radar in south Fort Worth. Crews are replacing the radar pedestal. The pedestal is what holds and spins the big radar dish around. It weighs 15,000 pounds! To do that they will have to remove the dome (the white cap) by crane first.

Tonight will be cooler than last night with low temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Winds will be breezy out of the northwest at 10-20 mph. Clear skies are expected for most locations except in the northwest where cloud cover will increase early Sunday morning.
