    If companies like decide what speech is allowed on the platform, and 2 billion users (luckily dropping fast) are on it, what is the effect? A status quo, a compromised "public opinion". Steered in a direction by those in power.

    I’ve deleted the FB app and Messenger from my devices. I’ve deactivated my FB account. The lack of security and tracking of FB users along with the lack of civility should be a red flag for all FB users.

    Deleted my Facebook when the Cambridge Analytica news broke and have never regretted it. Seeing pictures of my high school classmates with their kids is not more important than our democracy.
