  16. Good approach. I'm considering this, too. Perhaps or Linux Mint Debian Edition and then use AppImage to manually curate and use specific apps.

  20. I'm looking forward to LMDE 4 ( Edition), as I have been very pleased with the main Linux Mint (based on ) and LMDE 3. Glad to see that development of the based branch of Mint is continuing.
