    More and more wealth continues to flow to the richest sliver of the population -- all while we horribly underfund the public education system that our kids are relying on. This is not acceptable -- and I will fight everyday in the legislature for real change.

    Education funding in Colorado took a dramatic dip after the 2008 Recession and hasn’t yet recovered. Last year, Colorado schools were underfunded by more than $800 million.

    Yes, political power is a commodity. Whoever wields it has the power to sell it. Whoever wants it will make an offer to buy it. You want to decrease political contributions, take away political power. Politicians can't sell what they don't have.
