    Much growth is people rising out of poverty which is desirable. ... which begs the question, how many can the planet provide this opportunity to? Which of course, brings us back to the question (which you continually seek to avoid).

    Which is why my coaching mantra is 'Live Well, Consume Less, Enjoy More'. Until it can be shown that a life based on LESS is more satisfying than one based on endless people will continue to consume. It's the psychology of consumption we need to work on

    Developed countries have below replacement birth rates. Any population growth in these countries is from migration from overpopulated developing countries. The growth in in developed countries is driven in large part by this migration. is an issue

    Instead of parking money towards tax savings ....now one can start investing for good financial returns to secure the future....people will also have more money for consumption..more money should flow toward equity, debt mfs and direct stocks.

    Does need to change /reduce? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean size is a non issue. There are many ways to address the problem, education, family planning, reducing poverty, etc, but it has to begin with acknowledging it is a problem.
