    This wonderful object is in our lab undergoing treatment by our horologist. It is a clock with planetary models, made c1830. You can see the difference cleaning is making by looking at the dial faces in the below images.

    The continuing dry weather in has brought an unusual visitor to the bird feeding area, this mole is now a rather skittish but regular feeder on the mealworms in broad daylight. Great to see this very common but seldom seen mammal.
