If the brain of an animal is ~1/8 of a cubic millimeter, it's "quite easy" (assuming know-how & equipment) to image it whole at nanometer resolution for
#connectomics. If it's ~1/3, then its "relatively straightforward" (same assumptions). Sample preparation is critical, though. -
