    Today I turned in the bill Title for a 72 hour waiting period and increasing the age to 21years to purchase any firearms in CO. While this might not have stopped the Stem school shooting. We must take action to reduce gun violence.

    A Colorado state representative whose son was fatally shot in the Aurora movie theater is being targeted for a recall by and the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners - just because he cosponsored our new Red Flag Law.

    NEW: Recall petitions approved against . Those trying to force a recall election have until July 12 to collect more than 10,000 valid signatures from House District 37 in Centennial.

    The Republican predecessor of Colorado state representative Tom Sullivan, a Democrat, slams the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners’ recall effort. The gun extremists are trying to recall - a gun violence survivor who cosponsored the state’s new Red Flag Law.

    I was in denial. Until yesterday. Last year, state GOP leadership failed to speak up to defend me when RMGO carpet bombed my house district with negative flyers. Now, these same leaders pledge to work with RMGO to take out my successor in a recall. I do not support this effort.
